Controlling Remote Control airplanes by Jackie
Airplanes that can be controlled via a remote device from the ground are known as remote control airplanes. They are different in design, engine quality or total performance. They can be bought in markets from a cheaper price of $15 to $20000. There have been many changes to the performance, design and technology of remote control airplanes from the past 20 years. They differ from each other by their use also. They are made for different purpose .They are being used for personal pleasure, scientific use, traditional racing, and military operations. Remote control airplanes can be used to carry things or examine animal nature. Besides these it has much other usefulness.
Remote control airplanes are controlled by a transmitter which remains to the hand of the controller and it has a receiver attached with its body. The transmitter sends radio wave to the receiver and allows it to help the airplane thrust or increase and decrease the motor speed according to the controller’s wish. There are many sub-parts of wing and the back part of the airplane. The wing made of wood or sometimes plastic which is very light. The lighter body of an airplane the better. It helps the airplane move faster. The wing consists of Ailerons and Flaps. They can move after receiving commands from the receiver attached with the airplane. They are the main part of an airplane to help the airplane thrust. The other parts of an airplane are: Elevators, Rudder, Vertical Stabilizer, Horizontal Stabilizer, gears. Etc.
thrusting: In a remote control airplane, when the Wing Ailerons remains parallel to the body the airplane keeps moving forward .If the left-side Aileron moves up then the airplane rolls to the left. Opposite thing happens when the right-side Aileron moves up. Airplanes can thrust by another method. If any airplane has a function to increase the speed of any one motor from the two of them then increasing the left motor speed the airplane can move toward the up-right direction.
Inside of remote control airplanes: Motor is a common part of an airplane. It is connected with ESC circuit. Then the ESC is connected with the receiver which is another important part and the battery. The receiver gets power from the battery and then gets the transmissions from the transmitter. Other parts of airplane are controlled by the receiver directly.
Remote control airplanes come with two types of kits. First one is ready to fly kit(RTF).This one is almost ready to fly after purchase and it doesn’t take more than 50 minutes to make it fly .The second one is Almost ready to fly kit(ARTF). Both RTF and ARTF are similar but ARTF needs a few hours hardworking to make the airplane fly.
Most of the beginners who buy RTF usually spend around $70.
